			Kids are welcome in the space but they must be out of the way and not a distraction to other members especially in the woodshop, machine shop, and welding. They absolutely can not freely wander the woodshop while tools are in use. At least have them sit in a chair well away from tool use. Or preferably have them sit in one of the lobby / classrooms.

			We do not generally allow animals at the space. They are a distraction and hazard to other members and the space can be quite hazardous even to trained humans.

			True trained service animals are allowed but we will want to understand what tasks they are trained to assist with. The woodshop, machine shop, and welding are especially difficult environments even for a well-trained service animal.

			We want to try to accommodate members' needs and if an animal must be at the space for various reasons, they must be kept in a crate / portable kennel or kept well away from workshops and other members like in the storage areas.

While we absolutely support the free exchange of ideas, most members don't come to the space to discuss deep topics, politics, pandemics, current events, etc. but to get away from that stuff and work on fun things.
