ShareDrop

Open source web app that works on Linux, Mac, Windows, Android, and iOS devices that are connected to the internet (WiFi/cellular/Ethernet).

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to ShareDrop on both devices (sender and receiver).
  2. Use the receiving device to press the + symbol on the top right of the ShareDrop page.
  3. Use the sending device to scan the QR code that is displayed or navigate to the link.
  4. Look at the bottom of the SnapDrop page on the receiving device and note the name and icon that appears below "You".
  5. Use the sending device to press the icon that matches the name and icon from the previous step.
  6. Use the sending device to select the files you would like to send.
  7. Use the sending device to press the "Send" button.
  8. Use the receiving device to press the "Save" button.
  9. The files will now be saved to the Downloads folder on the receiving device.
